China and Azerbaijan signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for ordinary passport holders on Wednesday 23 April 2025, in Beijing.
The signing of the agreement took place during the state visit of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyevto to China from April 22 to 24, 2025.
The two countries plan to strengthen collaboration on tourism policies, create opportunities to host tourism promotion events in each other’s territories, enhance networking between professionals and companies in the tourism industry, and work closely to increase mutual tourist arrivals.
